Tri-Cities Children Photographer - Snow Days!

I wasn't too thrilled when it started snowing - - I was getting ready for spring!  Ha, winter just started!  It snowed for 12 hours straight & then we received a lovely dose of freezing rain/sleet making the roads OH SO FUN (ha!).  My office ended up sending us home early Thursday afternoon & shut down for Friday.  Pretty excited for some snow time with my girls!!  Here's a few photos I've captured!

I don't think I post many photos on my own girlies on here as much as I did.  I work a full time secretary job & come home to 2 exhausting but TOTALLY worth it children.  I remember the days when I'd post several blogs just of them.... so here they are.  The most recent photos that I adore.

My newborn session on Saturday was cancelled & my session this morning was also cancelled.... so to tame the need & want of taking photos of little ones, I turned to AVA!!! I just LOVE this age.  6 months is just so fun to photograph.  They can lay on their bellies & hold themselves up & they can sit up on their own.  I love catching Ava's many smiles.  She can be in a cruddy mood but as soon as I grab the camera she's ready for her close up! :0)

Finally everyone is well again!

Man oh man, we had a bout of that Norovirus that's going around in our household. Eeek! It started out with me & then went to my husband & my oldest daughter on the same day!! Then on Thursday, I had to go to work so I left my daughters with Grandma....I ended up coming home to take care of the hubby & Audrey only to find out the next day my poor mother in law was down with it too!  So glad that it's over though!! I have a few pictures of Ava to post......

And of course, a picture of Audrey (notice her back is towards me!!)

She is at the age where she wants to dress herself.  Too bad she forgot her pants!

In 10 days.

In 10 days my Miss Ava Grace will be 6 months old!! I cannot believe it. I kept saying she'll be 5 months but oh no, she'll be 6 months, half a year! Oh my! She is now able to semi-sit up on her own, as long as you help her get into that position.  She is not crawling (thank goodness!) unlike her big sister, who crawled at 6 months!  I think part of me wants her to be a baby longer unlike with Audrey I was always pushing her to do this and that because I was excited and impatient. :0)

I think Audrey is really starting to enjoy Ava.  Finally, she's interacting with her & they babble at each other!!! Yesterday, I was so in love with the light that I just HAD to take some photos.  Of course right?! And I caught a few sweet moments between them.  So precious.

Audrey's 2 Year Pictures: PART 1

She actually posed for me this evening!! I bought this outfit for her 2 year pictures but we were just "trying it on" and she started prancing around so I whipped out el camera!

So I have a session tomorrow with 3 two years old, 1 seven month old, and a 3 month old!! All are boys!!  I have mixed emotions - I'm super excited yet a little nervous, well, because my own 2 year old HATES getting her pictures taken (even if it's not me, just ask Meghan!).  Hopefully it will go semi-smoothly.  Anyways, I was trying to iron my huge white background fabric that came with my background stand... and decided to do a couple "test shots" with Ava....

And yes, she is sitting up by herself!!! :) at only 4 months!!

Audrey Nicole

Wow!!! I actually got a couple of Audrey.  She willingly sat down on my "set" while I was taking some of Ava... .. She grabbed a book & I snapped away. Got to take it while I can :)  She normally runs the other way if she sees me with my camera - Ava on the other hand, loves it!

mom! i have FEET!

Ava has discovered her FEET!!!  She kept grabbing them tonight.... so adorable!! And she's also learned how to blow raspberries and spit bubbles!!!  She's just a bundle of FUN!

Ava Grace is 4 months old!

I can't believe it's been 4 months since little Miss Ava was born!!  The days, weeks, & months just seem to be flying by.... I just want to slow 'em down a bit!
