Mr, M!! -

I had the privilege of photographing this sweet 1 month old boy.  His mamma used to work with me.  She also has a 3 year old boy.  I brought both of my girls with me, Audrey had a blast playing with big brother!  Hopefully we'll be able to get some bother pictures soon!

Diggin' It.

The LightScoop that is! At first I wasn't too sold on it but it's starting to grow on me.  I normally don't take photos at night (which leaves me with only Saturday & Sunday) but tonight I decided to snap some of Ava after bathtime.  I just snapped 'em while she was in her crib. I thought they turned out pretty cute.  She's got such a personality! I love it.

Saturday I am retaking Mr. L's photos....maybe he'll be more willing .... and Sunday I am taking photos of another co-worker's baby, Mr. M (4 or 5 weeks old).  !!!!  I am excited that people are actually ASKING me to take photos.  I'd love to get all the practice I possibly can...

More tomorrow.  I must will myself to take a step away from the computer & photoshop.

Milestone!!

Ava can finally lift her head up while on her belly.  She usuallly HATES tummy time but she enjoyed it last night.

Since I unexpectedly came home @ noon today to watch the girls, I thought I'd snap a couple of Audrey.  Nope, she wouldn't have anything to do with me or my camera.  I don't think I'll be able to get her 2 year old photos done. Oh well.

Meet Mr. L!!

This little man belongs to my co-worker, Cari.  This was my first time photographing a baby besides my own.  He didn't want anything to do with me!! And since it's been horribly overcast lately, I had to use flash (which I hate). I have a Lightscoop coming sometime this week (helps bounce the flash off the nearest wall or ceiling to give a more flattering light)....we've decided to try again next weekend with either the use of the lightscoop or SUNLIGHT (crosses fingers!).

on the verge...

...of obession, don't you think?! I can't help it!! I love my camera & I love my happy smiling baby girl! I enjoy photographing Audrey as well but she requires me to run around & make INCREDIBLY goofy faces just to get a half smile.  Ava is at a bit of a disadvantage because she can't escape the camera! & she's such a mellow, happy go lucky baby so I can take my time messing around the camera settings to get the shot I want.  So far she loves it when I pull the camera out.  As soon as it hits my eye, she starts cooing & smiling... I'm sure that will change in a couple of months or longer...

Until then, she's my adorable model & muse.

I'm supposed to take pictures of my coworker's son (2 mos old) tomorrow... hopefully she will let me post his photos on here...
